Mothers

It’s about time we honor our mothers
For they have only raised us and praised us
Treated us as their own and gave us
Strong, healthy human hearts.

They taught us how to grow as a person
So we don’t worsen ourselves in the future.
They taught us it’s okay to make mistakes,
For you’re not the perfect person.

They taught us to walk,
Then they taught us how to run.
They encouraged us “You can do it!”
And “BOOM!” goal achieved,
without my mother I couldn’t do it.

Our mothers are who we look up to,
They lift our moods up when we feel blue.
When were feeling sad and uncertain,
They let the sunlight through.

So don’t take them for granted,
They made us who we are.
Treat them with respect,
Or else in your life,
you won’t go far.
